Which gamepad to choose for comfortable playing on console emulators on Mac and Linux?
I sometimes play console games (NES, SNES, SEGA-MD, PS1, I want to try both PS 2 and 3) through emulators on PC (Linux) and Mac (Mavericks) and everything would be fine, but the control in the form of emulation of gamepads on the keyboard. I'm thinking of buying a USB gamepad. Accordingly, the question is: what to choose so that emulators and operating systems are perceived as native (I had no experience with this class of devices, so I feel uncertain about compatibility issues) and so that it would be convenient to play games of all generations. Share experience and understanding of a question at whom is. Thanks in advance.
