How to separate frontend from backend for single page application?

This is the first time I've encountered such a problem. I would like to understand the logic of how to organize a one-pager.
There is an application on flask with configured routing. This will be the backend. How do I set up a frontend with Vue.js for example? Where will the entry point be and what is the interaction logic?
