How to send broadcast traffic to Mikrotik?

Hello! I killed two days, I don’t understand how to do it. There is a Mikrotik with a VPN on it. A client connects via VPN, receives an address from the VPN network (for example, 10.8.0.100). In the local network of Mikrotik there is a smart home controller, IP 10.1.1.40. Nat is configured, the controller pings via IP from a remote client, but in reality this bastard (controller) works by broadcasting and responds to the 10.1.1.255 address. And the vpn client is not sitting in bridge1, where the broadcast ends. The client is on the pppoe_out1 interface. And garbage comes out - the cameras show by ip, but the buttons of the smart home program do not plow. If the client and the controller are in the same network, everything is fine. Through a VPN - garbage. Essentially a similar question (as it seemed to me, 2017, without an answer): https://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=124607 . On bridge1 proxy-arp is enabled. Doesn't plow.
