How to send a welcome email?

Hello! There is a service, users are registered in it. They need to send a welcome email.
What is the right and safe way (so that it doesn’t go to spam):
send a letter from your server or use some kind of mailers (send email to it and send a letter on an event)?

It is better to use a service like MailChimp or Unisender. Firstly, it's fast, and secondly, there will be analytics, you will know what happened to your letter (opened/received/followed the link/got into spam).
You can also do this manually, but the hemorrhoid is still the same.
