How to send a reply to a letter?

I send an email to a client. Then the status changes and you need to send another letter in response to the first one. What headings to use? Googled a lot but couldn't find it.

In order for the letter to be considered as a response and included in the chains by different services / mail applications, it is necessary to form a subject (ie Re: + the subject of the original letter) and the In-Reply-To: and References headers. Discussed in RFC 5322 Section 3.6.4 .

A new letter - everything is new, everything is standard.
The very same standard for the format of an e-mail message and the required fields for it has not changed, you won’t believe it, since 1982 - https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc822
