How to select a group of layers in photoshop?

Is there a way to set up photoshop so that selecting layers and groups works like it does in illustrator? That is, with a single click, a common group was selected, and with a double click, an element in this group (layer or group). Thanks

If the goal is to drag and drop a group in one click, then you can link layers together. Grab one and the rest will follow.
