How to select a file by pressing a character/letter in Total Commander?

What the manager from MS Windows likes:
When you press a letter on the keyboard, the first file (folder) starting with it is selected, clicked again, the next file.
I would like the same in Total Commander, but it immediately comes with a set of addresses.
And it would also be nice to do the same in Far Manager (but I doubt that it is possible in it).

In the Total Commander menu Configuration-Settings-Quick Search - choose a convenient keyboard shortcut
in FAR, as far as I remember, as in Norton, you need to type the file name while holding the control key

The behavior you describe works in the TotalCommander build from SAM Lab. Most likely some kind of plugin.
