How to save the current widget?

Good day! Tell me such a moment as you can store the current widget. for specifics. There is a widget that includes others using AddChildToVerticalBOx, I want to store what it currently has in a separate variable of the Widget type, so that later, focusing on it, delete it or compare it with what comes in to change the content. If I try to write down the value, I get

it. Tell me, it's not difficult for anyone how this can be done. Or maybe there is an article on this topic.
Thanks in advance

If suddenly, someone finds this question))) In general, I wanted to make a modular menu, supposedly the main container includes a header with buttons and by pressing the buttons different settings sections open, I ran into errors. As a result, I moved the header to the main widget, and made a switch there. I store the current widget in a variable of type Widget, when switching, I check whether that widget is currently active. If yes, we do nothing, if not, then delete the current one, install a new one and add it. If you can do better, please let me know.
