How to save pdf files with optimization?

Good day!
I work in Photoshop and drew the pages of a small book. When I save a pdf file, I get a huge file by weight. And I have at least 10 more such pages. After consolidation the heavy file turns out.
After trying to optimize through online services, but in the end the quality is lame.
But look at others. they have over a lot of pages (more than me), I'm already silent about the functionality of the pdf file, and they have about 15mb in weight.
And the question is, how do they do it? Why are they superior in quality and functionality, but so small in weight, or what am I doing wrong?
If anyone has worked and has experience, you can share your experience / lesson / useful link.

@Moskus

For example, you can start with the standard tools of Photoshop itself. Export to PDF there uses the standard Adobe preset engine. It is described, for example, here: https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/using/saving-pdf... You
can tinker with the finished files with optimization tools in Acrobat Pro. Described here: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/optimizing-p...
It also, using the Audit space usage... function, you can find out what exactly is the difference between your PDFs and those that you consider compact and optimal.
