What is the best html->pdf generation tool (font quality)?

Hello everyone,
We use wkhtmltopdf in the (django) project. We generate a document. The letters "dance" are not real, in some places they run into one another. When you select text, it is not the word that is highlighted, but each letter. Can you recommend any other app or tell me how you solved this problem. Thanks

We have also been using wkhtmltopdf for several years in combination with various fonts.
Plus pdftk for further manipulations.
Problems can only occur on outdated versions that are, for example, in debian turnips.
