How to save files from Mac to external drive?

MAC after updating the software does not want to save files on external USB or HD devices I installed a
trial version for a month of the program - everything worked - the term expired stopped saving
There is something to cure without paid programs

You do not need to "cure", but install a driver to communicate with the NTFS file system. There is a free ntfs3g, but stable operation is not guaranteed. Paid solutions work better.
