How to run Ethereum on a MacBook without eating up 200Gb?

Half a year ago I installed the Ethereum application on the MacBook, then it seemed to take a couple of dozen Gb, and okay. Now I launched it again to see how my three kopecks are there and it has been pumping for several days, and now I have run out of free space, I have eaten 150 gigs.
How to run the whole thing in some kind of light mode? It seems that it is possible to download not the entire blockchain, but the latest data?

Another wallet should be lightweight. Which only part of the latest transactions pulls. https://forklog.com/shest-naibolee-populyarnyh-kos...
There is also an option https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_l-TufVqg3M

You should distinguish between light and full weight wallets.
"Ethereum application" - this is the official wallet, I suppose, and it synchronizes the entire Ethereum node by default, this is more than 200 Gb.
1. There is a Light mode in this wallet. which does not receive the entire blockchain - you can enable it: Develop-Sinc with Light client (beta).
2. you can run the node itself (without an interface), i.e. geth and there is geth --syncmode="light"
also depends on the hardware, for example SSD drives or not.
in Light it is synchronized quickly (I have 4 hours on a weak machine).

Parity try in --light mode should take no more than 80 MB.
