How to run a Django project written in python 2.7?

I decided to revive the project here, but it was written in python 2.7 version. I'm trying to install libraries and writes a bunch of different errors. Does anyone have similar experience?

Install python 2.7, install janga of the required version, the required modules (of the required versions) and run it.
If conflicts with existing python use virtual env or some kind of isolation/virtualization environment
