How to route home phone in VoIP?
Good afternoon.
I have a city analog telephone line MGTS at home.
There is a home server that is always on.
I would very much like to be able to make calls from my home number while traveling, for example abroad, and receive calls coming to my home number in some kind of software on a laptop that I have with me.
My guess is that it must be some kind of device that the phone line will plug into and connect to the USB port on my server.
What good devices/software/solutions or sites with information about it are worth looking at?

Linksys SPA3102 is suitable for the required task.
It has 1 FXS port (for landline phone), 1 FXO port (telephone line).
Connect - configure in the admin panel - forward the necessary ports and get what you need, without using a server.
Buy pstn - voip gateway, for example. you can just use an adapter for a regular phone to connect to an asterisk,
then hang it on a city telephony. you can vice versa, so that the landline phone is at home, and connect from your favorite phone. it all depends on the tasks
