How to revive the battery after recharging?

There is an 18650 battery from el. cigarettes. I put it on charge for the night, in which there is no charge limiter. Now putting in a cigarette, it doesn't work. I put the battery in another charge, in which there is a charge indicator light, it lights up with a green light.
Is there a way to bring the battery back to life?
