How to revive canon 400d camera?

There is a pixie. Worked fine before. Now when you turn it on, it says "error cf". CF stands for compact flash memory card. There is a formatting function in the fotik itself, but when you click on it, it gives error 99. You can’t make a USB flash drive from a card reader with normal formatting. Special programs are possible, but it does not help. Has anyone encountered a similar problem? Will buying a new memory card help?
