Car charger for laptop (inverter)?
I often go on "distant" roads, it is necessary to maintain life in a laptop.
Laptop - Sony vaio svs1511s3r, charger - VGP-AC19V42:
Input: 100-240v ~ 1.5 A 50-60Hz
Output: 19.5v - 4.7A
If I understand correctly - I have the required power - 19.5 * 4.7 = 91.65
Google suggested that:
- you need to take a 150W inverter for a 100W laptop
- in laptops the PSU is pulsed, so you need to have a large "peak" power
Google led to the model - acmepower.ru/?chart=catalogue&groupid=11&productid=400 but read somewhere that "it makes a lot of noise."
Advise - what do you use to charge a laptop in a car?

The idea to make 12V of the AM onboard network first 220V, and then from these 220V - 19.5V for the laptop is not the most correct. It is better to make 19.5V from 12V without intermediate conversions. Here you can choose .
And why are you looking at the output power of the PSU. Input power 240V * 1.5A ~ 360W - peak power consumption of the PSU. So you need an inverter for a nominal 360W (the maximum allowable is usually written on them).
Next, see the input data of the inverter and whether your car can provide such data through the cigarette lighter. Typically, inverters up to 300W can be connected through the cigarette lighter, more powerful ones must be connected directly to the battery.
If you only need a laptop, then as Alex013 said above, it’s better to buy a car PSU for a laptop.
If you need both USB and a regular socket (for example, a zoo of devices - phones, navigators, etc.), then the inverter is a good, good thing, BUT! - an important point, check what is your allowable current for the cigarette lighter and which consumers still share it (what amperage fuse goes). Otherwise, you will find yourself, for example, without a cigarette lighter, radio and dashboard when you try to charge your laptop.
I myself have been using a universal converter for this for a long time, 12-19.5v (but you can select the required voltage on it with a switch), naturally you need to see if there is enough power. I bought it after the inverter burned the cigarette lighter fuse a couple of times when the load was turned on
Any inverter will make noise (that's what the inverter is for), but the noise is mainly the cooler in it (which can be replaced with a quieter one). There are inverters (with low power) without coolers, but they get very hot.
I have a Chinese non-name inverter for 1000 watts (costs 1500-2000r on ebay / ali). Works quite well, and actually gives out its voltage.
