I found out that Acronis does not format the HDD before recovery, but stupidly deletes old files from the backup copy, that is, everything will be restored to the same unformatted disk with errors.

Acronis does not delete files. It simply overwrites the disk partitioning information and the previous file system becomes unavailable.
Than asking questions like this you just try to recover. In any case, the previous information will not remain on the disk. If you need it, you need to make a backup.
In addition, if errors appear on the disk, this indicates that the disk is starting to crumble, it is best to replace it. I recommend booting from any live media and testing the disk surface, if there are a lot of errors - the disk is in the "firebox".
