How to restore window frame in Unity (Ubuntu 16.04)?

For the sake of interest, I installed elementary-desktop, but after removing it, some artifacts appeared:

1. When the window is maximized, not the entire screen has its own "title" - https://s.mail.ru/DiFr/m49Egriaa

What could be causing this behavior?

Remained configuration files in the home directory as an option. First you need to create a new user and see if there is no such thing, then the configs in the home folder are definitely to blame. If it also means that already common files are broken, most likely the compiz settings. You can try to dig through the compiz manager or reinstall unity completely.
