Today my Nexus fell into an endless download - I constantly see the Google logo, after a couple of seconds it vibrates, and the download starts again.
I'm considering two scenarios:

1. The power button is stuck (which is not visible or felt)
   
2. Very strong hang
   

How can I be in such a situation?
If we rely on the second option, then how can I do a hard reset through a computer, I do not have access to the phone's fastboot menu?

if the bootloader is not very different from nexus 7, try turning it off and holding down the volume minus and power, if it boots into fastboot it's not all over yet

Put your smartphone into bootloader / fastboot mode by holding down the buttons at the same time: Volume down + Power button (Volume down + Power) and connect it to the computer. When flashing, use only the supplied original USB cable and USB 2.0 ports located directly on the motherboard (on the back of the system unit).
Install the driver from Google (Google USB Driver)
On the command line, run: fastboot devices
If your nexus is there, then all is not lost
