Hello. There is a site on webasyst (Shop-Script 5). There is access to both ftp and the database. Question. How to recover the password for the admin panel?
Without the help of the built-in "forgot password" function.
PS The customer has lost access, but claims that it is possible to restore access via ftp or the database.
Googled but didn't find anything.

Probably your customer is more advanced than you. Everything is possible through the database. Hash the new password correctly and replace the value in the database. And all things.
