How to reset mouse in Kubuntu?
Hello.
I often have a USB mouse that does not work if I insert it after rebooting (turning on) the Lenovo G510 laptop. Switching to different usb ports does not help. Only restarting the OS with the mouse already inserted helps.
I think there is a mouse daemon in Linux and you can restart it in the terminal. And it is not necessary to reboot the entire OS.
The mouse is ordinary, not gaming, wired, working :)
Kubuntu OS 14.04 LTS. 64bit.

There is no such daemon (more precisely, there is gpm, but X does not use it). See logs. Or show us (Piece of the log after connecting the mouse).
