How to reprogram Bluetooth headset buttons?
Hey Habr!
Here's the thing: I want to buy a Bluetooth headset that can be reprogrammed. Specifically, I want to make its buttons do other things, like change the volume.
I'm not good at this, but I imagine it like this: I connect the headset via usb, using some software I detect it and reflash it.
So here are two questions:
1. Are there such headsets? And if there is, which ones?
2. How to turn this thing around and what software to use?
Thanks in advance to all who respond!

So do you want a BT headset or a wired one?
On the buttons - all stereo BT headsets that I've seen have at least volume control buttons (they usually adjust the volume of the headset itself, not the source) and Play / (Pause|Stop), Prev / Next.
Do you have such headsets?

You are digging from the wrong side, this phone must know what you want from it when sending commands. Even the standard <<,>>, play and stop do not work everywhere. In Linux, in blueman, you can choose what you want by pressing specific buttons on the headset. So it's not about the headset.
