How to reprogram a fitness bracelet?

I bought myself a new bracelet, but the old one (Mi Band 2) has nowhere to go. I want to try something with it. For example, program a small game into it, make a stopwatch or something else.

Tell me, with the help of which programming languages can you rewrite the bracelet software and how to write it there later (what programs or equipment are needed)?

I tried to somehow have fun with Mi Band 2 in Python. From a phone connected to it via Bluetooth. Already made him vibrate for a while. :)
And I got through to him using a library that works with bluetooth. Perhaps you should also dig in the direction of Python + Bluetooth libraries .

It is not known how the original mi band firmware works, so writing your own will not work - there will be a brick.

No way, this model, like many others, is not reprogrammed.
