We have been using the WP-SpamShield plugin for a long time , it works perfectly on our site: it does not let spam from registration forms, comments, feedback, and in general any other open forms.
One problem - it apparently conflicts with a bunch of plugins: WooCommerce + Yandex.Checkout.
During the payment process, such an error occurs:

we disable the WP-SpamShield plugin and everything becomes normal.
