How to replace NVIDIA GeForce GT 720?
Hello.
There is a desktop computer Acer Aspire TC-230 with NVIDIA GeForce GT 720 2GB.
https://www.acer.com/datasheets/2017/4871/TC-230/D...
I doubled the memory and replaced the hard drive with an SSD. I would like to speed it up even more.
Tell me, please, how can I replace this video card with a budget of $200-$250 and what, in principle, is the maximum video card that can be installed without changing the motherboard?
And, just in case, I’ll also clarify: is it possible to upgrade (without additional manipulations like “file / solder”) the existing AMD A6-7310 APU processor, and if so, will this replacement make sense (real performance gain)?
Thank you.
UPD
In the end, I bought and installed a GTX 1650 Low Profile 4G. I chose according to the criterion of availability on the market "for now" and power consumption, so as not to change the PSU.
Of course, the grass on the screen has not become greener and there is no difference for office applications. But visually the difference appeared when using presets in Lightroom. If before that, between hovering the mouse over the preset line and displaying changes on the main image, 1-2 seconds passed, now the picture changes immediately. The prime minister has not tried it yet, but if there are at least some changes when scrolling the timeline or the export time is reduced (with the old card, on average, it took 4-5 minutes of export per minute of video, if there are no large-scale effects), then it is definitely worth it.
UPD 2
I tried to work in Premiere Pro 2020. A clear and visible performance boost!
I think it might be worth looking for something better with the same power ... Although, now try to find something in stock.

to anything with the last digits over 50 and what will pull your bp.
It should be understood that the "speed" of the card is royal only on certain tasks. and if you edit the text, then you will not get any profit, except for complacency.
and do not ask different questions within the same.
While there is a period of growth in cryptocurrency mining, it is better not to think about buying a video card.
Video card slots do not seem to change over the years, so you can stick in whatever your budget allows, but now even 1050Ti cost 18 thousand, so it’s worth delaying the replacement.
Your processor is simply too old and it is unlikely that you will be able to make a real performance increase.
