How to replace CMS in a blog?

Given:
WordPress site.
I want to crash WordPress and install Ghost (ghost.org).
What is needed for that? Completely empty the root folder?
What to do with the database? Delete the old one? Or just start a new one? Or somehow edit the old one?
Who has experience installing CMS Chost, share it!) very interesting to hear!

Structures of bases of each engine - different. We must be prepared that this can become an unreal pain.
Node is far away for "CMS users", after all, you also need to be prepared.
Plus, in my opinion, is it worth it? They did it just for blogs, is there not enough extreme sports, or does insomnia torment you?)

Most likely you have a VPS server with php, when ghost is spinning on node.js
docs.ghost.org/installation/linux Get a
VDS server and follow the instructions. And it's better to get acquainted with the technology before buying - try to install it locally (wang, you probably have windows).

Forgot to add.
No transfer of information from WordPress is required.
Just removing one engine and installing a clean new one.

I'm afraid CMS Chost has a MongoDb or Redis thread, i.e. NoSQL database (although I have never dealt with this engine, but I have such a feeling). If so, then there are hardly any utilities for transferring data from a relational database to a non-relational one. Those. with this option, most likely you will have to copy-paste manually (which is gemorno).
