How to make one WordPress site background for all elements (header, body, footer)?

Hello. I want to put an image on the background of WP. If you use the standard function, it applies only to the body, but I need the image to stretch for all elements (header->body->footer). Is it possible to do this, and if so, how?

The question is not very clear. If you want the same image to shine through all the elements without distortion, then for all elements except body, you can set background:transparent;
