How to rename Dropbox root folder?

By default, Dropbox creates a ~/Dropbox folder, and you can only change the location of this folder, but you cannot change its name.
Googled, found the pyDropboxPath script, but it seems to be outdated and does not want to work with the latest version of Dropbox.
I also found a way to add the dropbox_path key via SQLite to config.db, but this option does not work.
I also found out that the second line of the host.db file contains the path to the Dropbox folder encrypted in base64. But in the latest versions, editing the second line does not lead to anything. the value is taken from config.dbx.
Are there other ways?
