How to remove version control from local storage?

Using the SVN Checkout command, I created a copy of the project on my hard drive. Now I want to remove version control from the project folder (roughly speaking, so that there are no check marks and exclamation marks), I did not find the corresponding command. Or is it easier to just delete the versioned project and just export from the repository?
And one more question - if I changed a file in the project and it is now different from the repository, how can I update it to the version from the repository?
