How to remove text from IP camera?

There is a hiwatch ds-n211 network camera for video surveillance. She had root login data (I got this one) and one fine day the text began to appear on top of the image - that "you have been hacked, change your password."
My actions:
1) changed the password - did not help
2) restarting the camera - did not help
3) turn off the power - did not help
There is an opinion that you can control the camera through the RS232 interface console - but how or what?
