Hello dear experts! Faced such a problem in windows 7: I can not remove the shadows under the shortcuts on the desktop. Unchecking "Drop shadows by desktop icons" does not help. This problem manifests itself only when using a slide show, if you just install 1 image on the desktop, then everything is fine, there are no shadows, but if with a slide show, then such a disaster :( Several hours of searching on the Internet did not help :(
