How to remove "Russian" layout on Mac?
Greetings
I bought a macbook and I still can’t understand some things
. Do I have 3 layouts now - Russian? Russian PC and English. I just need to remove the Russian layout (well, a dot and a comma for shift + 6 or 7 is a star). I go into the keyboard settings, remove the unnecessary layout and feel great. But not for long.
The Russian overlay appears itself after some time
I read that this is possible due to the fact that puntoswitcher is installed, but I can’t open its settings (it’s simply not in the top panel? And if you open it from Launchpad, nothing appears
Due to I have two questions for everyone:
1. How can I permanently remove the Russian keyboard layout
2. What is wrong with puntosmitcher, how to open it and enter the settings?
Thanks in advance

Try deleting Punto Switcher from /Applications/ altogether, empty the Trash, reboot and see if the problem with the keyboard layout returning persists.
Settings - Keyboard - Input Sources - Click on an unnecessary language - Click on the minus sign in the lower left corner.
profit.
