How to remove insert in OSX terminal?

Hello! An index.html was created via the terminal, and there was a problem: I can't enter any command anymore. That is, only spaces are put and INSERT is lit at the end of the command line
And what to do with it? I've already broken my whole head, switching between Window-show / hide the alternative screen does not help ...
I would be very grateful for the help.

but generally press ESC, then type :wq and then ENTER
