Hi there. I can't get deal with my php and its extensions.
So I d know how to install mcrypt extension normally and how to set symbol links with php or xammp php.
So I'm used homebrev to get the mcrypt extension, I've execute it, and linked to php, but the mcrypt version was older than it needs to be.
There was an advice to don't use homebrev, because it's horrible and there are lots of errors available.
Could you share some tutorial links "for beginners" which helps me to understand the idea of linking and helps me to get this task done.
I'm sorry about English, but there is no Russian lang on this tablet.

If you have one PHP project, then you should already deliver all the necessary libs using brew, composer, or compile by hand.
But if you have more than one project, then switching versions of PHP and its extensions using all sorts of tools is very hemorrhoids, my personal opinion.
I am using Ansible + Vagrant. Solves all questions, rises within 3 minutes.
