How to make 3G modems work in Yosemite or Yosemite with 3G modems?
After updating to Yosemite, the 3G modem from Beeline (Huawei E171) and the 3G / 4G modem from MTC (827F) stopped working. In both cases, the problem looks the same. After connecting the modem to the macbook pro, the connection program opens, the network is found (the signal is stable), after pressing the "Connect" button, the connection occurs, but the traffic does not turn on.
Accordingly, the pages in the browser do not open. Something is blocking the connection.
Both modems have been verified to work properly on a macbook air with exactly the same version of Yosemite.
Can you help me figure out where I'm blocking?
Perhaps useful information: after updating to Yosemite, my laptop stopped giving access to other devices to the Internet shared through it (via wi-fi).

The Yota LU150 from Yota also does not work, they simply change them to the new 156s for free. (^__^)
Write to Beeline support.
This always happens to me if I forget to turn off wi-fi.
That is, if a 3G modem is connected at the same time and there is an active wi-fi connection (even without the Internet, some kind of local network), then the bytes do not run through 3G.
(I have, if anything, macbook air, 4G from Megafon)
the same situation with huawei e303, belarus, mts
just the modem is not visible at all
macbook air, yosemite
Same story for mac os yosemite.
I bought a zet mf667 modem from a beeline - I didn’t look at the box (and there were restrictions).
As a result, there is no internet and no money.
Sadness...
