How to remove Facebook popup notifications in Firefox?

A few days ago, pop-ups about new events on Facebook suddenly appeared in the Firefox browser. Moreover, notifications are displayed regardless of whether Facebook is currently open. I did not order this :-)
How to get rid of this crap?

Try going to add-on management and disable it in facebook messenger services.
