How to make Facebook and Vkontakte comments in popup?

There is an image feed.
When you click on the image, a popup appears with the image, VK and FB comments, the number of comments, share VK and FB.
There is also a separate page for each image that mimics the popup functionality.
For comments to work correctly, the page with the comment block must have content meta data.
When you try to do this, then the comments fly into oblivion and the comment counter does not change, then on the social profile page. network image is not displayed.
The question arises how to properly organize commenting?
The option with iframe in popup is not considered (because HTML5 + Vanilla.js), categorically )
The site is self-written, so plugins will not work either
