Hello! My site does not use links that end, for example, with index.php, but Google somehow finds them, and the server returns 200 even if something else is written after php.
All my links look like site.ru/catalog/news/
how to do it right so that the robot does not index these pages and is it necessary to make the server return 404? Now it displays the main page

Look at the instructions for Robots.txt , there is also an option to disable indexing using the meta tag.
