Lately while surfing. Adf.ly ad jumper pops up for me. How to remove such a virus?

judging by the number of posts about it, this is not a virus at all, but an assistant in learning Windows OS.
download AWZ, after running "Tools->Autorun Manager" then turn off everything that is not green -> reboot -> roll back to the previous image
