How to remotely change ads on TVs?
Hey! I work in a retail network, and there is a need to change advertising on TVs at retail outlets REMOTELY. The question is how to implement it? Now most TVs work on Beholder media players on Android, each player has an ip registered in the subnet of the store, it takes a picture from the shared balls and displays it on TV, but when I change pictures in a shared folder, the players do not perceive them as new, as if they take a picture from an unknown cache. Rebooting TV and players does not help, old images still hang, until you rescan the ball ON EVERY player, which is extremely inconvenient. Maybe there are people from similar offices who somehow solved this problem =)

How is rescanning started?
If from the remote control - then only with your hands (most likely).
If from the web face, then try to get a command (from the web face) to rescan the balls and write a simple script that will send a command to media players.
If on Android, then you can write a simple program that would itself check periodically whether the picture has been updated and reload it. And it is better to transfer the picture not through the ball, but through the usual HTTP.
Further it will be possible to add new features.
If I have money, I can make such an application.
