How to remember the working environment on the slave. desktop - location and content of windows (win7)?

Here I have placed on the monitor screen the windows I need for convenient work: a text editor, a browser, a file manager, etc. Is it possible by some means to remember the location and size of open windows in order to quickly restore your workplace after a reboot?
Hope I explained it clearly =)

There is a program actual window manager , which, among other things, allows you to set "rules" for windows - sizes, locations.
Russian description here .
A new rule for a window is created, the window is selected from the list or by dragging a cross on it, it is determined by its class\name. Set the size, location parameters (you can use your hands, you can again drag the cross on the window, then its current parameters are considered), put the checkboxes where necessary, and the window will always start in this place and size. In addition, you can set a lot of other parameters for both the window and the process.
It will not interfere with changing its size/position.
In addition, there is an option to save the last dimensions / position. Then, instead of a fixed size/position, those from the last opening of the program will be used.

you can try to write a script for AutoHotKey, which will launch the necessary applications, and move, and resize as needed
