How to remap mouse buttons?

This is not about simple remapping, which is easily done through standard mouse software. Mouse Delux m618 plus (vertical). There is a driver from the official site. The left and right mouse buttons have been reassigned to some complex keyboard shortcuts for a long time. The official software cannot do anything with it, that is, the program displays that the default action is assigned to the button, but in fact the same key combination remains. If I try to determine what the combination is using xev, the output looks like I am pressing a combination of buttons on the keyboard and I cannot understand the code for these keys to somehow reassign them. In short, I'm already in despair, at least buy a new mouse, or maybe it's really easier? I will be very grateful for your help.

Are you sure that the settings are loaded into the mouse, at the hardware level? what happens if the mouse is connected to another computer or easier - boot into a clean system, at least the same linux live usb.
If on a clean system the mouse moves as expected, then dig towards the software settings, delete, clean the settings, etc.
