How to release a product under the AGPL but use a proprietary extension for monetization?

The point is this. We have written a product and we want to make the main part of it with the basic functionality publicly available under the AGPLv3 license (we can’t do it below, because the dependencies are required) so that others can use, try and embed. But there is an extension that inherits from classes inside the main library and extends them. Can this extension be released under a proprietary license?
What other implementation options are there?
