How to reinstall Windows on Chinese tablets?
Now on the Internet there are many Chinese tablets with Windows 8 / 8.1, and a full-fledged Windows, with a desktop. But there they go mostly in Chinese and you need to change the language and other manipulations. But I'm more interested in whether it is possible to reinstall the system there in the same way as a regular PC, a bootable flash drive with the OS (with the required edition), formatting the disk and installing it on a blank volume. Or is it necessary to somehow reflash and more complex procedures?

Windows starting from the eight can create "recovery" and reinstall itself (refresh and reset, respectively). To replace a version of Windows that is not in the update format, you will have to flash this recovery, it is usually located on a protected section of the device's drive. The problem with Chinese tablets is that it is generally unpredictable how this section is protected and whether it is protected at all. In addition, the OEM version of a particular Windows may contain Special Chinese Drivers, which sometimes turn out to be written on the knee so that you can no longer transfer or replicate them yourself on a clean system - up to the point that another system language pack is registered as the main one in distribution may interfere with their operation.
These are the most possible horror stories, and if you wish and have free time, it’s quite possible to bypass them. It's hard to say until you have a specific tablet in your hands, everything can be much simpler there. Again, the only problem with Chinese tablets is unpredictability. In the same tablet from one batch, there can be three copies of one module, for example, Wi-Fi, and three of another.
If you have straight arms, feel free to order. In addition, some sellers can meet you halfway and Russify the system at your request (the result, however, may turn out to be quite unexpected Semyontsy, because a license for these oems is bought in extremely rare cases, and in the eight one of the protection schemes against piracy - the inability to put another language pack without crutches). It seems that I have stated everything I wanted to say, but maybe I will still supplement the answer.
