How to install your Windows on AWS?
I want to take a server on AWS to put my Windows there. what they offer solutions is much more expensive due to their included license. Before that, I just took a server with IPMI and installed the system image through it. But in AWS I can not find whether there is such an opportunity.

With a high degree of probability, this will violate the license. Given that aws will have your payment details, there are likely to be significant legal implications.
firstly: it is possible through import VM image
https://docs.aws.amazon.com/vm-import/latest/userg...
secondly: due to the change in virtual hardware, Windows will try to reactivate after import.
AWS has its own KMS server and if activation fails for some reason, the import will, in theory, be faked.
However, on stackoverflow, people also write about successful imports
. AWS has a BYOL program for its licenses, but, as far as I remember, it only applies to Server products, adding your Win10 license is unlikely to work
. So you are unlikely to legally use client versions of Windows on AWS whether it succeeds even if the import succeeds. And illegally - these are quite certain risks, especially since AWS has all your data
PS I would like to add that this is my theoretical knowledge about the issue. Even with server products, it is often easier to make new images (packer, cloud-init) than to transfer what worked for you on another hosting, so I have never dealt with migrating images
for this they can knock on the head
Who exactly and for what?
