How to reinstall Windows 7 using a virtual machine?

Good day to all.
I want to reinstall the seven on my machine, but because usually it takes a lot of time, it will not be possible to install and configure everything in one go. I want to do the installation first on a virtual machine, install, configure everything properly and then migrate it to a physical machine.
What is the best way to carry out this operation and can there be any problems after transferring to a physical machine?

Offtopic: windows, unlike Linux, is hardware-dependent and when transferred it will be "oh, how bad it is ...". It's easier to put on a second HDD, and then just clone it.
UPD: It became terribly interesting - And why are you so specific that you are setting up Windows for so long?

Why reinvent the wheel? Use WDS, or SCCM to deploy your OS.
