How to reinstall windows?
Friends! There is a laptop running Win8 (license). You need to do a clean install of Win10. How to do it? Will it require a key during installation or will it be stored on the PC after clearing the hard drive?

Upgrade to Win 10 here .
Activate it via the Internet (Microsoft will "bind" the Win8 key to your hardware and activate Win10).
After that, you can safely install Win10 even with the formatting of the screw (when connected to the Internet, Win10 will be automatically activated on your hardware, it will not ask for the key, the activation information will be stored by Microsoft).
I did this:
1) First, update via GWX after the update, link your Microsoft account
2) Then download the ISO via the Media Create Tool, you can get it on the microsoft website
3) Then you burn the ISO to a USB flash drive / disk
4) During installation, it will say enter the key, press the button "I I 'll activate later"
5) Then select the appropriate edition if Win 8 is not Pro version, then select Home, and vice versa
6) Erase the installed Windows 8
7) Continue as a normal installation
8) Then you will log in to the Microsoft account where the key was tied (perhaps Windows will immediately pick up key after installation before logging into your account)
9) And enjoy the licensed Windows 10
