I downloaded Mac OS sierra from the App Store. At the end of the installation, the strip hung and did not move (waited for several hours), eventually turned off the laptop and decided to reinstall it, but the same thing happens. A gray screen appears on the loading background and a white bar stops at the end

The accuracy of calculating the installation time cannot always be trusted, this is already a rather old problem and for some reason no one solves it. Most often, the installation still does not hang, just some actions are performed that take a considerable amount of time. Sometimes it can take more than a few hours. What exactly is happening at the moment can be viewed by opening the detailed installation log from the menu at the top of the screen.
