Are you sure this is necessary? Have you tried more in-depth diagnostics than observing the color of the LED? For example, there are commands:

show chassis alarms
show system alarms

If you still decide, then the best option, I think, is with the help of a usb-carrier. See the document at the link . Carried out such an operation with the EX8200, I'm happy with everything.

Where to get an image?

If there is a contract for the device - ask this question to JTAC. If you have access to the Juniper website, then from it. If you know the current version of JunOS and suspect that the image file on the device has become corrupted, find a working image of the required version.
